CGCC to Host Update from Washington

Join us on Wednesday, May 29 at 7:10 a.m. for this special event organized by the Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Chandler-Gilbert Community College! 

Update from Washington gives you the opportunity to hear directly from our policymakers. The special engagement will feature special guests:

  • U.S. Senator Martha McSally
  • U.S. Representative Greg Stanton
  • U.S. Representative Andy Biggs
  • Moderated by: Jason Bagley, Director, State Government Relations for Intel

Event Schedule:
  • 7:10 a.m.: Check-In, Refreshments, Innovation Fair & Networking

  • 8:30 a.m.: Event Begins
The event will include an innovation fair, highlighting the work and achievements of students and faculty from Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Mesa Community College and Scottsdale Community College.

How to Submit High School Transcripts

Follow these steps to upload high school transcripts for course placement at the Maricopa Community Colleges, including CGCC.

1. Visit my.maricopa.edu.

2. Hover over "Services" in the top navigation and click "Placement."

3. Click the "High School Transcript Submission Form" button. Note: If an official high school transcript is required for financial aid or a program application, you must have the official transcript sent directly from your high school to the Admissions & Records/Enrollment Services office on your campus.

4. Log in with your MEID and password.

5. Complete the form, filling in the college you wish to attend, your email address, phone number and date of birth.

6. Enter your graduation information—drop down boxes will appear depending on your answers.

7. Click "Choose File" to upload your high school transcript (either a scanned or photographed image). Make sure it is legible.

8. Click "Next" to proceed to the electronic signature page.

9. Complete the electronic signature by filling in your first and last name and clicking "Sign Electronically."

Make It Happen at Chandler-Gilbert

What will you make happen at Chandler-Gilbert? CGCC offers 72 programs in business, health, science, technology and more. Students can choose from classroom, online and hybrid classes. We have three convenient locations in the East Valley, our Pecos and Williams campuses and the Communiversity in Queen Creek. Make it happen at Chandler-Gilbert.

2019 Commencement Ceremony

The 28th annual Chandler-Gilbert Community College Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 10 at 6 p.m. at Sloan Park in Mesa. CGCC President Dr. Greg Peterson will deliver the welcoming remarks, and Jacob Montgomery, a creative writing student who will continue his education at Arizona State University, is the student speaker. More than 300 students who have earned a degree or certificate are expected to be in attendance.
