High school sophomores begin college prep program at CGCC
AZEdNews, a service of the Arizona School Boards Association, covered the story of three Blackhawk students being accepted into the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Achieving a College Education (ACE) program. The story was submitted by Higley high school student Michelle Reese to the Stories by You section. CGCC's ACE program is a two-year, scholarship-based college preparation program for high school students with the mission of increasing the success rate of first-generation, under-represented financially disadvantaged college bound students.
