The Arizona Republic covered the story of Habib Matar, a Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) student who began taking classes at the college at age 13 and will graduate with an associate's degree May 9 before continuing to Arizona State University. Habib's parents are engineering and English faculty at CGCC.
